There's so much going on right now which is wonderful and I'm super busy designing and sewing for an upcoming market night with the date being confirmed this week.
My next cushion order is going to be gorgeous and full of flowers with a ' flowery owl ' in the centre. I can't wait to get started on the design over the next day or two and really want to push the boat out with the colour mixes and fabrics.
You may have wondered what on Earth the title of this blog post was all about? Well, I've recently been doing a lot of freehand machine embroidery to use in some new designs ( make-up bags, textile art pieces, etc ) and came up with a couple of pretty tea cups that have been sat on my studio desk for a couple of weeks, waiting to be turned into something wonderful.
So yesterday I turned these fabulous designs, sewn onto vintage French linen, into ' T ' bags....amazingly pretty ribbon corded bags to store t-bags in!
Here they are and I love them.
Have a fun week and keep an eye out for the market night event page which will be posted onto my Facebook page ( I'll of course write another blog here too, keeping you all informed ).
