Just a quick blog post to tell you about a few things going on in the next couple of weeks.
Firstly, Button Fayre is having a wonderful ' LOVE fabric party ' on it's Facebook page and the more the merrier!
Lots of lovely goodies will be up for grabs including some fabric scrap packs ( each pack comes with one little piece of co-ordinating Liberty fabric ) and a few love themed creations, it's going to be a lot of fun.
Secondly, I'm busy writing some articles for magazines and blogs too which is fantastic, I love to write and so to be able to write about my experiences so far with Button Fayre is wonderful!
Thirdly, my next blog post ' tutorial ' will involve how to make a simple brooch!
I want EVERYONE to be able to grab some fabric and have a go at making lovely things which is why I've decided that my tutorials won't so much be tutorials as I feel a little above and beyond myself calling them that. I'm just a normal person who loves the magic of colour and fabric, and being able to sew of course helps, but everyone has to start somewhere so my main aim is to make you feel inspired enough to have a go!
I wanted to show you my latest textile art too. It's ' Ruffled Rowletta ' and she's gorgeous, just so vibrant and pretty!
I'm going to sew her up using a mix of sewing techniques on the machine and will then turn it all into a wonderful cushion and can't wait.
Last but not least is the big news that Button Fayre is offering 10% off, yes 10%, on all orders for ready to post items and custom designs until the end of February...how fantastic is that?
Let's get set for spring!
Have a great week-end,
