Now's the perfect time to start thinking about your bunting and Button Fayre has been making some interior doorway/window bunting and it's fantastic ( example below ). I'll be making some normal sized bunting for my upcoming market night too but have yet to give a formal date and so keep an eye out.
I tend to become quite motivated in the spring time ( although I'm pretty much hyper and motivated all year round if I'm honest ) and love to start spring cleaning and preparing for new decorating in the house, it's an exciting time to see the sunshine again after a few months of darkness, the spring showers, the smells and new colours arriving with the nature.
There's been a lot going on with Button Fayre, one of the highlights being the ' Flirty Birdy ' giveaway of which we now have a winner and so congratulations once again to Anita Lawson.
I'm quite excited about designing Anita's cushion because I'm doing so with some rather luxurious fabrics. There are tweeds, wools, linens and corduroys which will look beautiful and the base fabric is also rather special but I'll leave that as a surprise for now.
I've also been very busy sewing two family tree cushions and have finished them today, they're gorgeous aren't they?!
I've opened up a boutique on a French website called ' A Little Market ' and am feeling quite hopeful about it and so wish me luck.
It's a rather beautiful website for handmade items and so lovely to see the diversity in France and a little nerve wrecking too because I've not yet thrown myself into it all here.
I wish you all a very happy March and I'll be back very soon to show you what else I've been up to.
