I think I've finally gotten to grips with Pinterest after having a rather miserable attempt a few months ago. It all looked so complicated that I gave up before really trying and so I'm so glad I went back for another look. It's a really light-hearted way to get yourself out there, quite a psychological profile you can build up about yourself, and you also get to meet lots of other interesting people!
So here's my Pinterest details for anyone that would love to follow Button Fayre :
Twitter still confuses me somewhat and so I don't, for the moment, have much to do with it but do have my Facebook posts linked to it and seem to have attracted a few followers which is lovely!
My Twitter details are :
All of this technology is most exciting and I often wonder what people actually did to advertise their businesses before we had it available? Maybe people were forced to work extremely hard ( not that I don't already! ) to make their business work but I do think it's kind of a shame too because I hear of so many small shops around that are drowning without a life jacket because of the internet but I suppose we just have to accept, and embrace, the world around us and adapt to it's changes. I for one am not very technologically minded but I do love how easy it is to meet, speak to AND have interest for my things from countries far away and none of this would of been possible so easily before!
I've been working super hard all week and made a rather large gadget case that I'm particularly proud of.
I had no doubt that I would manage it but it was so much bigger to what I'm used to so I was out of my comfort zone a little bit. However, I loved every second of making it and here is the result....a beautiful laptop sleeve ( and it's large! )
